Theogene Maniragaba

Theogene is a seasoned Finance and Audit professional with 16 years of extensive experience across diverse sectors including the private and public sector, consulting, and investment management. Possessing a robust background in financial analysis and evaluation, business development, and strategic leadership, Theogene is recognized for his innovative approach to leadership and strong teamwork ethic. EDUCATION

• Currently pursuing an MSc in Project Management at Liverpool John Moores University, expected completion in 2023.
• Became a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) in 2013.
• Attained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) in 2007.
• Completed the first and second years of Higher Education at the Kigali Institute of Sciences, Technology, and Management (KIST) from 2003 to 2005.

EXPERIENCE

Theogene brings a wealth of experience in Audit and financial management, spanning from operational and technical levels to strategic and policy levels. He commenced his professional journey at Ernst & Young in 2008 as a Junior External Auditor, steadily progressing to the role of Senior Auditor. In late 2009, he transitioned to Rwanda Investment Group (RIG) as a Group Internal Auditor, eventually assuming the position of Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in July 2012. Following his tenure at RIG, Theogene joined Silent Ocean in 2018 as Finance Director, before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer at Angle Contracting and Consulting Ltd in January 2019. Subsequently, he joined NPD Ltd as Finance Director later that year, before being appointed as the CVL Group CFO on March 1, 2024. Theogene has also served as a member on several boards, including Ultimate Concepts, MIG, ICPAR Audit and Risk Committee, and King Faisal Hospital Board.
