Chantal Habiyakare

– CHIEF AUDIT & RISK OFFICER –

Prior to joining CVL she held various positions both in finance and internal audit for different Companies and has vast experience in assurance and financial advisory services.

EDUCATION

She holds a bachelor’s degree and an advanced diploma in Accounting from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada). She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda.

EXPERIENCE

Chantal is a senior financial manager with over 18 years of experience providing audit, strategic, financial, and operations leadership to organizations as part of the management team or the external assurance and consultancy teams.

She worked as Chief Finance Officer for Babyl Rwanda Limited and RwandAir Ltd. She also served as the Chief Internal Auditor of RwandAir Limited. Prior to joining the Corporate world, she worked as an Audit Manager for KPS Associates and Fuller Landau (Montreal, Canada).

She also serves as a non-executive Director on the Board of the National Bank of Rwanda and Ngali Holdings Ltd.
